Grand Prix at the Glen Picks
The IndyCar Series is back in action this afternoon for the IndyCarGrand Prix at The Glen. Here are some drivers we like to contend for the win.
The Grand Prix at The Glen is a 204-mile race that is held at Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen, NY. The race takes place today at 2PM ET and will air on NBCSN. This is the first time this event is being held since 2010. According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Scott Dixon is the current favorite at +225 to win. The other short odds to win are Will Power (+250), Simon Pagenaud (+650) and Helio Castroneves (+650).
Bet on the Grand Prix at The Glen
Will Power is on a nice roll lately, winning four of the last seven IndyCar races, while finishing second in two others. He also won this race the last time it took place, so he has experience winning at Watkins Glen. Look for another strong run from Power today.
Simon Pagenaud is the points leader for a reason. He consistently finds his way to the front of the pack, winning three races in 2016 while finishing second in three others. He has yet to compete in an IndyCar race at this track, but he shouldn’t have any trouble contending for the win.
Juan Montoya has +1300 odds today. He is a driver that should do well at a track like Watkins Glen. It was one of his better tracks during his time in NASCAR. He also is coming off a pair of top-10 finishes, which snapped a bit of a funk for him. Look for him to continue his upward trend today and possibly steal a win.
