Honda Indy Toronto Picks

The IndyCar Series returns to action this afternoon with the running of the Honda Indy Toronto. Here are some of the drivers we like to contend for the victory.

The Honda Indy Toronto is a 151-mile race that is held at Exhibition Place. The race takes place today at 3PM ET and will air on NBCSN. According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Simon Pagenaud is favored to win, as he has +200 odds. Other short odds to win are Will Power (+350), Graham Rahal (+450) and Scott Dixon (+450).

Bet on the Honda Indy Toronto

Will Power has been able to navigate this track for a win twice in his career, taking the checkered flag in 2007, 2010 and 2016. He comes into today’s race with plenty of momentum, having finished in the top-5 in four straight races, including one win. Power has two wins on the year and he has been the best driver in the series since his slow start to the season. Look for Power to have another great run today.

Scott Dixon comes into today’s race as the points leader. Dixon has finished in the top 5 of seven races this year and finished in the top 10 in all but one race. He has one win to his credit with three runner-up finishes. Dixon heads to Toronto today, a place where he won a pair of dual races in 2013. He also finished fifth in 2014 and eighths in 2015 and 2016. Dixon has been very consistent this year. He should be able to find the lead pack today and push for a win.

Helio Castroneves has +600 odds to win today. He is coming off his first victory of the 2017 season last week in Iowa. Castroneves now sits second in the point standings. He has six top-5 finishes this year and also has finished in the top 10 in all but one race this season. Castroneves has run well at Toronto as well, finishing second in three of the last four years and third in the other.
