IndyCar Racing Predictions: IndyCar Grand Prix 5/13/17

IndyCar Grand Prix Picks

The IndyCar Series will be back in full swing later today with the IndyCar Grand Prix. Here are some drivers we like to contend for the victory.

The IndyCar Grand Prix is a 200-mile race that is held at the interior course at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The race takes place today at 3:30PM ET and will air on ABC. According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Will Power is the favorite today, as he is getting 9/2 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Simon Pagenuad (5/1), Josef Newgarden (6/1) and Scott Dixon (6/1).

Bet on the IndyCar Grand Prix

Simon Pagenaud has won this race two of the three times it has been held. He also has been hot this year, building off last year’s series championship. Pagenaud has finished in the top 5 of all four races this year, including a win in the last race at Phoenix. He should be right in the mix once again today.

Scott Dixon has finished in the top 10 in this race the last two years, which is nothing special. Still, he is having a great start to the 2017 season. He has finished in the top 5 in all four races this year. While he has yet to grab a win, he is always in the mix. He should be again today and could possibly call the right numbers to end up taking the checkered flag.

Juan Montoya is making a rare appearance this year. He comes into today’s race with 10/1 odds. He finished eighth in this race a year ago and third in 2015. Montoya has yet to compete this year, but was a series regular from 2014-16 and was always in the mix. He had four wins in three years and knows how to navigate this track. If you need a dark horse, Montoya is your pick today.
