Men’s 100m Butterfly Olympic Odds
Will Michael Phelps be able to add to his gold medal total at the Rio Summer Olympics when he competes in the 100-meter Butterfly?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Phelps is the favorite to win this event in Rio, as he has +100 odds. Other short odds to win are Chad Le Clos (+200) and Laszlo Cseh (+350). The Rio Olympics take place from August 5-21 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Phelps competes for the United States and he is looking to win a gold medal in this event for the fourth straight Olympic Games. He is 31 coming into these games and looking to add to his total of 18 gold medals.
Le Clos competes for South Africa. He finished second to Phelps in this event at the 2012 Olympics. However, he has since won the 2013 and 2015 World Championships in this event.
Cseh competes for Hungary. He has yet to medal in this event at the Olympics, but has five Olympic medals in his career. He finished second in the 100 butterfly at the last two World Championship events.
