Men’s 50m Freestyle Odds
Which swimmer is the fastest sprinter in the pool and will come away with the gold at the Rio Olympics in the Men’s 50-meter Freestyle?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Florent Manaudou is the favorite to win, as he has -200 odds. Other short odds to win are Nathan Adrian (+450) and Cameron McEvoy (+500). The Rio Olympics continue today through Aug. 21 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Manaudou competes for France. He finished with the gold medal at the 2012 Olympics and also was the 2015 world champion in this event. He also claimed the short course World Championship in 2014 in this distance.
Adrian competes for the United States. He has won three Olympic gold medals in his career, two of which came in relays and the other in the 100 freestyle. He finished second at the 2015 World Championship in the 50 freestyle.
McEvoy is competing for Australia. This will be his first Olympic Games. He has yet to medal on the global stage in the 50 freestyle, but was second at the 2015 World Championship in the 100 freestyle.
