According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Novak Djokovic is the favorite to win the gold, as he has -145 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Andy Murray (+250), Rafael Nadal (+1400) and Kei Nishikori (+1400). The Rio Olympics take place from August 5-21 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Djokovic competes for Serbia. He won the bronze medal at the 2008 games and finished fourth at 2012. He has won two grand slam events in 2016 and has won five of the last seven grand slam tournaments.
Murray competes for Great Britain. He won the gold medal at the 2012 games in London. He is coming off a Wimbledon championship last month and has reached the finals of all three grand slam events this year.
Nadal competes for Spain. He won gold at the 2008 Olympics, but was unable to compete at the 2012 games due to an injury. He has failed to reach the semifinals in the last nine grand slam events. Still, he is a 14-time grand slam event winner.
Nishikori competes for Japan. He reached the quarterfinals of the 2012 Olympics. He has not reached the semifinals in the last seven grand slam events and has never won a grand slam tournament in his career.
