Saturday, June 16
3-Team Parlay
L.A. Angels at Oakland Athletics
Detroit Tigers at Chicago White Sox
Chicago Cubs at St. Louis Cardinals
Angels at Athletics figures to be the most difficult MLB game to handicap on June 16. The reason is that although the Angels figure to beat the A’s, the A’s start ace Sean Manaea on Saturday.
Detroit hasn’t said who their June 16 starter will be. No matter whom the Chicago White Sox start, there’s a good chance they’ll lose.
But, Detroit isn’t that much better than Chicago.
Cubs versus St. Louis is one of those ridiculously difficult to handicap baseball rivalries. This Saturday’s game should be no different.
4-Team Parlay
New York Mets at Arizona Diamondbacks
D’Backs’ pitchers often throw much better on the road than they do at home. Even though Mets’ listed starter Jason Vargas has had a horrible season, so far, the fact that AZ plays at home on Saturday means that the Mets could step it up.
Sunday, June 17
3-Team Parlay
Miami Marlins at Baltimore Orioles
Boston Red Sox at Seattle Mariners
Chicago Cubs at St. Louis Cardinals
The Marlins list Trevor Richards as their starter on Sunday, June 17. Richards has a 5.04 ERA to go along with a 0 and 3 record. The Orioles counter with Dylan Bundy, who is 4 and 7.
Bundy has a better ERA, 3.66. He hasn’t faced a lot of Miami batters, though.
Boston’s Eduardo Rodriguez has benefited from having a great bullpen. Rodriguez is 7 and 1 on the season. The Seattle Mariners, the team Boston faces on Sunday, could get to Rodriguez because he just pitched on Tuesday, June 12.
Cubs versus Cardinals is always a difficult matchup to pick. This time it should be truly difficult because the last time St. Louis faced Cubs’ starter Jose Quintana they scored 3 runs off 5 hits in less than 5 innings.
4-Team Parlay
Colorado Rockies at Texas Rangers
The Rockies versus Rangers could go either way on June 17. The Rangers start Bartolo Colon. The Rockies start Jon Gray. Gray appears to have the upper hand, but the Rangers get the Rockies in their building.
What do all of the games listed above have in common? They’re difficult to handicap matchups. That’s why pay per head agents are most likely to promote the MLB parlays listed here.
They wish to make it difficult for sports bettors to hit parlays. Remember though, it’s not impossible to win, and winning could lead to a major payout.
