Week 10 CF Odds
It’s hard to imagine that pretty soon, the 2008 College Football regular season will be wrapping up. Enjoy it while you can. Oddsmakers have released point spreads for all of Week 10’s action.
By far, the biggest matchup on the Week 10 schedule is Lubbock this Saturday as the No. 1 Texas Longhorns take on the No. 7 Texas Tech Red Raiders. Tech has one of the most powerful offenses in the nation but have yet to face a stiff defensive test and they’ll get one this week against Mack Brown’s UT program. Colt McCoy also looks to continue his hot play and contend for the Heisman as oddsmakers from online sports book SBG Global have established Texas as a 6-point road favorite.
Another great battle occurs in the SEC when the Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs square off in Jacksonville at the “World’s Largest Cocktail Party.” (Although they can’t call it that anymore because the college football big wigs don’t want to assume that students are drinking at games.)
Oddsmakers have established Florida as a 5.5-point favorite and Urban Meyer’s program will be looking to exact a messaure of revenge on a UGA squad that embarrassed them last year.
One game to keep an eye on is Florida State at Georgia Tech. The Seminoles are ranked 15th in the nation, but face a Yellow Jackets team that will be fired up after losing to Virginia last Saturday and getting knocked out of the top 25. Oddsmakers have made Tech a +1.5-point underdog.
