Giants Win, Cover Spread
The New York Giants had just enough scoring power to win the 2008 NFC Championship game over the Green Bay Packers. However, they had a commanding league over the point spread for most of the game. The frigid Wisconsin weather certainly played a role in the Packers inability to cover the spread in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game.
The Packers loss is their takes them to 14-4 straight up this season, failing to cover this game puts them at 13-4-1 against the spread on the 2007-2008 season. The New York Giants will advance to Super Bowl XLII with a 13-6 overall record with Sunday’s win and will improve to 13-6 against the spread.

New York will head to warmer conditions to play in Super Bowl XLII February 3, 2008 in Glendale, Arizona. The Giants will meet the New England Patriots who are 18-0 straight up and 10-8 ats this season. They advanced the Super Bowl by beating the San Diego Chargers 21-12 in the AFC Championship Game.
