Prediction:
Expect a knock down, drag out fight because both of these teams are physical and don’t like each other. The key to Washington’s success has been QB Jason Campbell getting into a rythem while learning Jim Zorn’s West Coast Offense. Campbell has grasped the system faster than anyone could have expected and it helps having Santana Moss to throw to and Clinton Portis take the pressure off his shoulders while keeping the running game rolling. However, expect Jim Johnson and the Philly defense to blitz at will and give Campbell a test similar to the one he failed at in New York in Week 1. The key for the Eagles will be whether or not Brian Westbrook will return to the lineup because if he doesn’t, the onus will once again be on QB Donovan McNabb. In last week’s loss to Chicago, McNabb had issues putting the ball in the end zone without the threat of Westbrook running behind him. We like the points and not only think that Washington will cover, but could pull off their second straight upset. We predict the Redskins over the Eagles 20-17.
