CHICAGO is 5-1 straight up against ATLANTA since 1992
5 of 6 games in this series have gone UNDER THE TOTAL since 1992
Prediction:
Normally we like take the home underdog, but the Bears have absolutely owned the Falcons in the past. Plus with how bad Matt Ryan looked against the Tampa 2 defense (the same defense Chicago runs) in Week 2 against the Buccaneers, it’s hard to side with Atlanta knowing the rookie quarterback could struggle. It also doesn’t help Ryan or the Falcons’ cause that dynamic wide receiver Roddy White might not play due to a possible head injury. Bears’ quarterback Kyle Orton has played really well of late and should have no issues against a suspect Atlanta secondary, assuming the line can keep defensive end John Abraham out of the backfield. We predict the Bears over the Falcons 20-9.
