Prediction:
The Saints are coming off an impressive home victory over the San Francisco 49ers while the Vikings struggled to generate any kind of offense in their loss at Tennessee. But the Saints are banged up right now and are missing a couple of key offensive weapons in Marcus Colston and Jeremy Shockey. That should help a Minnesota secondary that has been lit up through the air this season. The Vikes will try to take away Reggie Bush and the running game while also attempting to not fall behind early as the Niners did last week. That opens the door for New Orleans’s passing attack, so it’s vital that the Vikings keep things close to make a run in the fourth quarter. We think Minnesota will hang, but probably not come away with a victory. We predict the Saints over the Vikings 28-27.
