Bettors Say Take Jaguars
There hasn’t been much movement this week in the New England Patriots, Jacksonville Jaguars betting line. The Patriots started the week out as -11.5 point spread favorites over the Jaguars and by Saturday afternoon were only favored by -13 according to the oddsmakers at online sports book Bodog.
That 1.5 point swing might suggest that oddsmakers are having a little trouble balancing betting action on New England.
The over/under odds are also not showing much movement. Since opening at 48.5 earlier in the week, the over/under is currently shown only a couple ticks higher at 50.5 according to Bodog oddsmakers.
With just over 80,000 point spread bets being tabulated, our current NFL public betting information shows bettors are giving the nod to the Jaguars to cover the 13 point spread against the host Patriots.
The New England Patriots have 10 point spread wins in 2007, the Jaguars have 11. 11 games the Patriots have played in have went over the total in 2007, 13 games have went over for Jacksonville. The Patriots are averaging 36.8 points per game this season while the Jaguars are only averaging 26.0.
