NFL Wildcard Line Movement Report

LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – Since the opening numbers were posted there hasn’t been a ton of line movement in the two NFL Wildcard games on Saturday.

View Updated NFL Playoff Odds

The first of the Wildcard games takes place in Carolina today when the Panthers host the Cardinals at 4:35PM ET. Carolina opened as a 4.5-point favorite after dismantling Atlanta to win the NFC South title last Sunday, but the line has since been bet up to 6 at most online and Vegas sports books.

The total for the Arizona-Carolina matchup has seen some movement, going from 39 down to 37.5 according to online sports book BetDSI. With Ryan Lindley set to make another start under center for the Cardinals, oddsmakers and bettors alike envision a low-scoring game.

As for the second game tonight, the Steelers opened as 3.5-point home favorites over the Ravens but the line has dropped down to the key number of 3 at most sports books. The total, meanwhile, opened at 48 and has been bet down to 46.
