Dallas Mavericks guard Jason Kidd brings a ton of veteran experience to the hardwood as well. Even though they didn’t capture any medals in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia, the U.S. is still a heavy favorite to win a gold medal this time around.
The Value: Argentina
Even though Argentina won a gold medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Sydney, oddsmakers have listed their odds of winning this year’s men’s basketball tournament at 10/1. Led by San Antonio Spurs’ star Manu Ginobili, Argentina is a great value bet and could give the United States issues with their style of quick play.
