Women’s Tennis Olympic Odds
Serena Williams looks to claim another gold medal when she competes in Women’s Tennis at the Rio Summer Olympics.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Williams is the favorite to win this tournament, as she has +120 odds. Other short odds to win are Garbine Muguruza (+500), Angelique Kerber (+1000) and Petra Kvitova (+1200). The Rio Olympics take place from August 5-21 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Williams competes for the U.S. and has won four gold medals in her career, with just one being in singles (2012). She is coming off a Wimbledon championship and she has won 22 grand slam events in her career, including five of the last eight.
Muguruza competes for Spain. She is competing in her first Olympics. She won the French Open this year, her first grand slam event win.
Kerber competes for Germany and she reached the quarterfinals of the 2012 Olympics. She won the Australian Open this year and also reached the finals at Wimbledon. She has just the one grand slam championship in her career.
Kvitova competes for the Czech Republic. She has won two grand slam events in her career, with the last coming in 2014. She has not reached the semifinals in the last eight grand slam events.
