Tale of Ekati will face stiff competition to finish in the top three at the 2008 Belmont Stakes, but his odds indicate that he could have a decent showing Saturday.
Tale of Ekati opened at 40/1 odds to win the 2008 Belmont Stakes according oddsmakers at online sportsbook Bodog when they were released a couple weeks ago. As we count down the final hours to post time he is currently listed at 20/1.

Bet on the 140th Belmont Stakes
Tale of Ekati has had a bit of success this year, winning the Wood Memorial Stakes (G1) and placing fourth at the 2008 Kentucky Derby. He probably won’t compete with Big Brown and Casino Drive at the Belmont Stakes, but at 18/1 odds, he’s not a long shot either. As previously noted, he’s won before and should have confidence going into Saturday.
