2017 The Oscars Best Picture Odds
The 89th Academy Awards aren’t until February 26 but the odds are already out for Best Picture.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, La La Land is the clear favorite to win Best Picture at next year’s Academy Awards at 11/10. The film with the next best odds is Moonlight at 4/1, while Manchester By The Sea is 7/1 and Loving is 10/1.
There are five films that have odds of 20/1: Billy Lynns Long Halftime Walk, Birth Of A Nation, Fences, Hacksaw Ridge and Silence. There are two films, meanwhile, that have 25/1 odds to win Best Picture at next year’s Academy Awards and they are Jackie and Lion. Arrival is 30/1.
Some of the mid-range long shots to win Best Picture at The 89th Academy Awards are Nocturnal Aniamls and Sully at 40/1, respectively, while 20th Century Women, A Monster Calls, American Pastoral, Hidden Figures and Snowden are all 50/1, respectively.
Finally, The Jungle Book and The Lobster are both 60/1, respectively, while Maggies Plan is 70/1 and then Allied, Passengers, Paterson and The Girl on the Train are 75/1, respectively.
