Updated Belmont Stakes Odds
ELMONT, NY (The Spread) – American Pharoah’s odds to win the Belmont Stakes have once again shifted.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, American Pharoah is now 5/6 to win the Belmont Stakes on June 6. He opened as a 10/11 favorite before his odds dropped to even money at 1/1. After claiming victory in both the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, American Pharoah will have an opportunity to capture the first Triple Crown since 1978 (Affirmed).
Frosted remains American Pharoah’s biggest challenger from an odds standpoint. Frosted opened with 5/1 odds and that’s where his number to win currently sits. Materiality, meanwhile, is 15/2 while Carpe Diem is 12/1 and Mubtaahij is 16/1.
The long shots to win the Belmont Stakes include Madefromlucky and Tale of Verve (who finished at 22/1, respectively, while Divining Rod is 25/1 and Keen Ice is 28/1. Frammento has the worst odds in the field at 40/1.
