We’ll make this play against the struggling Chiefs who have now lost 6 straight games and 5 if their last 6 ATS. Last week’s 41-7 loss to Denver tell me that the Chiefs have had enough and they are ready for the offseason. Tennessee showed its true colors by fighting and clawing last week before losing in OT to a red hot Chargers team. We’ll see that same fight this week in K.C. The fact that the Chiefs cannot score the football plays right into the hands of Titans backers here. Tennessee is 9-2 ATS in its last 11 on the road vs. teams scoring less than 17ppg. The Chiefs are just 2-5 at home this season and 1-5 ATS in home games.

The Cleveland Browns are having a magical season and they will dismantle the Buffalo Bills at home Sunday. Buffalo has been winning close ball games to keep them in the playoff hunt. They have not done well against high-powered offenses like the one they will see Sunday. The Bills have also been atrocious on the road this season. Buffalo is scoring 11 points a game on the road. The Browns are going off for 31 points per game in home games. The Buffalo defense can’t contain Cleveland for 4 quarters. By game’s end the Browns put the Bills away by double digits. The Browns are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games as a favorite and 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games against teams with a winning record.

The Atlanta Falcons have new life now that head coach Bobby Petrino is gone. Players did not play for this coach and say he was the plague in the locker room. Now their new life with a new QB and new head coach will spark the Falcons in Tampa Bay Sunday. Chris Redman proved he could handle the starting role as Atlanta’s play-caller, throwing for nearly 300 yards and two touchdowns against the Saints Monday. Jeff Garcia returns as the Bucs’ starter this week and we expect him to be a bit rusty with his aching back injury. Head Coach John Gruden is 6-15 ATS after covering the spread in 4 or 5 of his last 6 games as the coach of Tampa Bay. Atlanta is 13-1 ATS in road games after allowing 450 or more total yards in their previous game. They face a much less potent Tampa Bay offense Sunday and will easily stay within two touchdowns of the Bucs.

The Cowboys nearly went down at Detroit last week. We feel that scare gets them dialed in at home Sunday and poised for a big win. Philly has struggled since its near win over the Patriots with Seattle and the New York Giants then winning on Philly’s home field. The Eagles are just 1-4 straight up and ATS in division games this season while the Cowboys are 4-0 straight up and 3-1 against the number. Dallas is 6-1 in home games this season and 5-2 ATS in those contests. The Boys have been one of the best covering teams in the league this year at 9-4 ATS in all games this season. Some of Dallas’ success can be contributed to the fact that it is one of the healthiest teams in football.
