According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, Always Dreaming has the best odds to win the Kentucky Derby at 3/1. Mc Craken has the next-best odds at 15/4, followed by Gunnevera, Irish Wary Cry and Irap at 11/2, respectively. Classic Empire is also 6/1 to win on Saturday.
Continuing with the odds, Practical Joke has 8/1 odds to win the 2017 Kentucky Derby, followed by Girvin at 14/1. Gormley and Lookin At Lee are both 15/1, respectively, while Tapwrit is 16/1 and Thunder Snow is 18/1. Hence is 20/1, J Boys Echo is 25/1, and Sonneteer is 30/1.
Some of the mid-range long shots to win the Derby this Saturday are Battle of Midway and Untrapped at 35/1, respectively, as well as Cloud Computing and Royal Mo at 40/1, respectively. Patch is 45/1, Fast and Accurate is 50/1, and State of Honor is 55/1. Petrov, meanwhile, has the longest odds to win at 70/1.
The 2017 Kentucky Derby will be the 143rd running of the Kentucky Derby and is set for Saturday, May 6, 2017 from Churchill Downs. NBC’s coverage of the Derby will start at 2:30PM ET with the post time set for 6:34PM ET. Harry Connick Jr. will sing the National Anthem.
