Rollins competes for the United States and is making her Olympic debut in Rio. She won the 2013 World Championship in this event with a 12.44 time, but finished fourth in the 2015 World Championship with a time of 12.67.

Ali also competes for the United States, but the 60-meter hurdles is more her specialty. She finished 10th in this event at the 2013 World Championships. She didn’t compete at the 2015 games due to giving birth to her son. She was third at the U.S. Olympic Trials, while Rollins finished first.

Castlin also competes for the United States. She failed to qualify for the Olympics in 2012, but came in second at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials with a time of 12.50. That was her personal-best time.
