French Open Women’s Odds

With Serena Williams not in the mix, which female tennis star will come away with a win in the French Open this year?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Simona Halep is favored to win the championship, as she is listed with 3/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Elina Svitolina (7/1) and Garbine Muguruza (9/1). The 2017 French Open takes place May 28-June 11 from Roland Garros Stadium in Paris, France.

Bet on French Open Odds

Halep is looking to win her first grand slam event. She did reach the Finals of the French Open in 2014, but that was her only final in a grand slam tournament. She lost in the first round of the Aussie Open earlier this year.

Svitolina hasn’t had much success in grand slam events in her career. Over 18 tournaments, she has only reached the quarterfinals once, which was the 2015 French Open. She lost in the third round of the Australian Open this year.

Muguruza is the defending French Open champion. It is the only grand slam event she has ever won, but she did make the Wimbledon final in 2015 and reached the quarterfinals of the French Open in 2014 and 2015. She also reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open earlier this year.
