Serbia vs. Switzerland Prediction
Serbia is the Group E leader after its opening win and would punch its ticket to the round of 16 today with a victory over Switzerland. Will the Serbians take care of business or will Switzerland build off its impressive draw with Brazil last game and get the upset win here?

According to oddsmakers, Serbia is a +165 favorite to win on the moneyline. Switzerland is a +190 underdog, while a draw is set at +200. The total is set at 2 goals.
Kolarov lifts Serbia to win
A goal by Aleksandar Kolarov in the 56th minute sent Serbia to a 1-0 victory over Costa Rica in its first group play match. The game was evenly matched with both teams holding 50 percent of the possession, while each team registered 10 total shots. Serbia committed 15 fouls in the match and was handed two yellow cards.
Switzerland notches surprising draw
As big underdogs, Switzerland managed to gain a point in its World Cup opener as it pulled off a 1-1 draw against powerful Brazil. After falling behind 1-0 in the 20th minute and having it continue that way until halftime, the Swiss evened the score at 1-1 in the 50th minute on a score by Steven Zuber. That was good enough to get Switzerland a draw despite only having 27 percent of the possession in the game. The Swiss were outshot 20-6 and only managed two shots on goal.
Prediction:
This game is pretty even on the moneyline and Serbia didn’t exactly look like world beaters in its first match. If Switzerland can draw against Brazil, I like its chances for a second straight tie against Serbia today.
