Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal Odds
Which WWE superstar will emerge over 19 others to become the winner of the third annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 32?
The Battle Royal is slated to feature 20 WWE superstars where all start in the ring at the same time until one man remains. Eliminations occur when a wrestler is thrown over the top rope and both feet touch the floor.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Braun Strowman is the favorite right now to win the battle royal, as he is listed with +125 odds. Other short odds to win are Bray Wyatt (+500) and Mark Henry (+600). This match is part of the Wrestlemania 32 kickoff show, which begins at 5PM ET from AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The show airs live on the WWE Network.
Strowman is a rookie in the WWE, but a mammoth man that stands 6-foot-8 and weighs 385 pounds. If wrestling were real, he would certainly be a favorite to win. In the scripted world, the WWE has been looking for a way to push Strowman as a new giant, monster and this match seems to be their best avenue.
Wyatt is one of the organization’s top heels, or bad guys. He leads a group that includes Strowman, but Wyatt doesn’t need the win to help strengthen his character, as that is pretty well established.
Henry is a dark horse to win the match as he is likely to retire soon and the organization may be looking for a way to honor him before he goes. He is also a Texas native. Given he is a former Olympic powerlifter that is 6-3, 418 pounds, there is credibility to the idea of a man his size winning the match.
