According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, The Undertaker is the slight favorite to win this match, as he has odds of -130 to prevail. Shane McMahon has been given a money line of -110 to win. This match is part of Wrestlemania 32, which begins at 7PM ET from AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The show airs live on the WWE Network.
The Undertaker is 22-1 at Wrestlemania and been in a number of Hell in a Cell matches. In reality, he would have no challenge winning this match, as he is the much larger fighter. His Wrestlemania career is at stake in this bout, as if he loses he can no longer compete at WWE’s biggest event. However, at age 51, it could be time for him to retire.
Shane McMahon is the son of WWE owner Vince McMahon. He is wrestling for control of Monday Night Raw, the flagship TV program of the company. Shane hasn’t competed in over five years but is known for taking unbelievable risks in matches. Despite being the much smaller fighter, there are no rules in this match so he could be aided by as many other wrestlers as possible. The WWE is also in need of a big shakeup to the company with an expanding roster, so having Shane win and creating a brand split between Raw and Smackdown, the WWE’s Thursday night program, could be in order.
