According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Roman Reigns is currently a heavy favorite, as he is getting odds of -500 to prevail, while Triple H is getting odds of +300 to win. This match is part of Wrestlemania 32, which begins at 7PM ET from AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The show airs live on the WWE Network.
Triple H is the champion and the real-life COO of the WWE. He is not a full-time wrestler, but picked up the championship as a way to intensify this rivalry going into Wrestlemania. These two have been feuding for some time, with Triple H as the established company leader and Reigns being the man to defy authority. Reigns is main-eventing in his second straight Wrestlemania and is clearly someone the company wants to build on going into the future.
Reigns isn’t quite getting the fan support that the WWE would like. The fan base feels he is being forced down their throat, which he is to a degree. But, he will win tonight regardless. Having Triple H hold onto the title makes no sense as he isn’t someone that can compete night-in and night-out like Reigns can. Reigns may not be a leaving Wrestlemania as a good guy, but he will be leaving with the belt.
