Wednesday offers bettors a full slate in the NBA, a couple of compelling matchups in the NHL and two MACtion college football contests. Read on for our Cross-Sport Parlay for tonight’s games!
Cross-Sport Parlay Prediction: Golden State Warriors +6
The Warriors are off to an excellent start to the season, winning six out of their first seven games. More importantly for our purposes, they’ve also covered in six out of their first seven games, too. They’ve won four consecutive games entering play on Wednesday, cashing in all four games as well.
Boston, meanwhile, is 7-1 straight up and 5-3 against the spread. Thus, the Celtics are off to a healthy ATS start as well. That said, the Celtics are just 3-7 against the number in their last 10 games versus the Warriors. They did cover the last time these two teams met in March of last season, but it snapped an ATS losing streak of six straight for Boston.
I’m not sure why the Warriors are receiving six points tonight. Steph Curry only played 24 minutes on Monday due to a left peroneal strain, but he should see his minutes increase tonight.
Cross-Sport Parlay Prediction: Washington Capitals -120
The Predators have won seven out of their last 10 games versus the Capitals but this Washington team is rolling. I know the Caps just lost to the Hurricanes 4-2 in Carolina, but they’ve won three out of their last four games overall. In that span, they scored 5, 6 and 7 goals, respectively, before mustering only two goals against Carolina, which is one of the top teams in the NHL.
As for the Preds, they were just shutout by the Kings 3-0. That was one of three losses in their last four games overall.
Cross-Sport Parlay Prediction: Western Michigan +105
Western Michigan quarterback Hayden Wolff has been excellent in conference play this season, leading the Broncos to a perfect 4-0 record in the MAC. He completed 15-of-21 passes for 208 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in the Broncos’ 52-21 win over Kent State two weeks ago. He’s locked in right now.
The Broncos are rolling right now, too. They’ve scored at least 34 points in four straight games and at least 45 in three out of their last four contests. Over that span, they failed to cover just once – a 45-42 win at Ball State in which they were a 10-point favorite.
As for NIU, the Huskies lost to that same Ball State team two weeks ago 25-23 as a 13.5-point favorite. They also struggled versus Toledo three weeks ago, as they scored just six points in a 13-6 defeat as a 3-point favorite.
