The Dolphins’ offensive skill players could wreak havoc on the Redskins’ defense today when the two teams clash at 1:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Redskins are 3.5-point home underdogs versus the Dolphins after opening as a 1.5-point dog. The total, meanwhile, is currently sitting at 43 points after opening at 44.
Lamar Miller and Jarvis Landry will pose issues for a Washington secondary that has struggled with tackling over the last few seasons. Miller is a threat to break long runs once he gets to the second level and Landry is an emerging playmaker in Miami’s up-and-coming offense. With Junior Galette (Achilles) out for the season and Ryan Kerrigan missing most of the offseason program after having knee surgery, the Redskins won’t be able to drum up enough pressure to halt Ryan Tannehill and Co. today.
The Redskins are 1-4 against the spread in their last five games dating back to last season and are 1-6 ATS in their last seven home games.
