Dodgers vs. Braves Game 6 Prediction

The Braves got to Dodgers’ ace Clayton Kershaw in Game 4 and with their 10-2 victory, are one win away from advancing to the World Series. Will Atlanta pick up that victory tonight in Game 5 of the NLCS at 9:08 p.m. ET?

Los Angeles Dodgers DFS Spin

Dustin May will start Game 5 of the NLCS on Friday against the Braves. The Dodgers will turn to May for his second start in this postseason. The talented right-hander started Game 3 of the NLDS against the Padres, but went just an inning as an opener against the San Diego lineup. With the Dodgers’ bullpen struggling, it’s very likely that Los Angeles will give the 23-year-old at least a turn through the lineup in a must-win game.

Atlanta Braves DFS Spin

Brian Snitker told reporters after Game 4 of the NLCS that he’s not ready to name a starter for Friday’s Game 5 against the Dodgers. It certainly sounds like this is going to be a “bullpen game” for the Braves, but Snitker said he wasn’t ready to make a decision and they’ll have to go over to cover the innings for the contest. Snitker did say that Kyle Wright — who tanked in his start in Game 3 on Wednesday — would be available, and that the only arms that wouldn’t be are Huascar Ynoa and Grant Dayton. The Dodgers will be going with Dustin May.

Dodgers vs. Braves Game 5 Betting Prediction

The Braves tallied six runs in the sixth inning last night and are now one win away from their first World Series appearance since 1999. The Dodgers only mustered one solo home run through the first six innings versus Bryse Wilson and outside of their 11-run outburst in the first inning of Game 3, their offense has gone silent versus this Atlanta pitching staff. Worse yet, the Dodgers’ bullpen continues to falter and is now in even worse shape after Kershaw couldn’t get out of the sixth inning without recording a single out last night. Perhaps the Dodgers still have some flight left in them but with the way the Braves are playing right now, I’m rolling the dice by taking the plus odds.
