Los Angeles Dodgers Fantasy Spin

Cody Bellinger went 2-for-4 and popped a solo home run in a win over the Brewers on Thursday. His sixth-inning dong off reliever Matt Albers opened the game’s scoring. Bellinger is now tied with Christian Yelich and Khris Davis for the major league lead with 10 home runs this season. He is slashing .432/.512/.919 with 24 RBI. He got hit in the knee with a pitch on Monday against the Reds but seems to have survived that scare without any lingering effects.

Milwaukee Brewers Fantasy Spin

Christian Yelich went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Dodgers on Thursday. He popped one off closer Kenley Jansen in the ninth inning but it was only good enough to draw the Brewers within two runs. Yelich won the National League MVP Award last year with a .326 batting average with 36 home runs and 110 RBI and he is on pace to demolish those stats in the new season. He is currently slashing .351/.440/.792 with 10 home runs, 27 RBI and 19 runs scored in 20 games. He leads the majors in RBI and is tied with Khris Davis and Cody Bellinger for the lead in homers.

MLB Betting Trends

Los Angeles

The Dodgers are 2-5 in Ross Striplings’ last seven starts.

Milwaukee

The Brewers have won seven of Jhoulys Chacin’s last 10 outings.

Prediction:

I like the Dodgers again tonight. They have a ton of left-handed power and face a pitcher in Chacin who has been tough on righties over the last two seasons, but allowed a ton of hard contact to lefties during that same stretch. I trust Stripling more than Chacin in tonight’s pitching matchup.

The Pick: Los Angeles Dodgers -115
