Bet the Eagles at Packers Game
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES: Year two of the Carson Wentz era begins with this preseason tilt. The 2016 NFL Draft No. 2 overall pick was fantastic in quick bursts last year, but often showed rookie struggles as most first-year quarterbacks do. He wasn’t to blame for all the issues through the air, however, as the Eagles had a major issue with dropped passes. The hope is that those problems will be alleviated due to the signing of Alshon Jeffery, who has all the tools to be one of the best wideouts in the NFL. Philadelphia also had many issues consistently rushing the football last year, but the additions of veteran LeGarrette Blount and rookie Donnel Pumphrey should alleviate those concerns.
GREEN BAY PACKERS: All-Pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers is not expected to play, so look for a lot of third-year backup Brett Hundley as the Packers would like him to get as many reps as possible during the preseason. Green Bay is loaded at wide receiver in a group that includes Jordy Nelson, Davante Adams and Randall Cobb. It appears as though Ty Montgomery will be given every opportunity to win the running back job after having several very strong games a year ago. On defense, added depth should provide more versatility this year in their 3-4 base setup.

OUR PREDICTION: Rodgers is sitting this one out and the Packers are a completely different offense with their leader off the field. The Eagles are also still figuring things out offensively, so we’ll look for the two defenses to dictate this game.
