With five seasons of Game of Thrones already in the bag, and Season 6 coming up in April, the curtain will eventually fall on the TV adaptation of George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series. Which leaves a pressing question for fans of the show: who will be King or Queen of Westeros when all is said and done?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Jon Snow is favored at 5/2 odds while Daenerys Targayen has the next best odds at 3/1. Aegon VI Taragaryen is also 6/1 while Tyrion Lannister and Peytr Baelish are 7/2, respectively.
The mid-range longshots are Bran or Rickon Stark at 16/1, Margaery Tyrell at 18/1 and Varys and Sansa Stark at 20/1, respectively. Euron Greyjoy is also 25/1, while Night’s King is 30/1 and Stannis Baratheon is 33/1.
The true long shots are Cersei Lannister, Tyrstane Martell and Arya Stark at 50/1, while Ramsay Bolton is 60/1 and Hodor has the longest odds of any of the characters mentioned at 500/1.
