UFC LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT – Rashad Evans (17-3-1) vs. Dan Henderson (29-9).
This fight should be very interesting. I see Henderson starting out strong, but fading as the fight progresses. Evans has the better conditioning for a five-round fight, but he tends to fight tentative. UFC HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT – Roy Nelson (19-7) vs. Stipe Miocic (9-1)
This fight should be pretty simple for Nelson, in my opinion. I don’t see Miocic having the strength and power to get him to the ground and Miocic certainly can’t contend with Nelson’s punching power. UFC HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT – Pat Barry (8-5) vs. Shawn Jordan (14-4)
This fight will be a slugfest and likely end with a knockout of some sort. Barry is the more dynamic striker of the two, but Jordan can take a punch much better. Barry has struggled against powerful strikers, because he relies on his striking to win fights. Once Jordan is able to show he can take Barry’s best, I think he will open up his striking and finish Barry. UFC 161 FREE PICK – Shawn Jordan -105
