Weidman (13-0) is the champion and looking to defend his title for the fourth time. He has never lost and has nine finishes in his 13 fights. Rockhold (14-2) has won his last four fights, all by KO or submission. He has established himself as the clear No. 1 contender for the title.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Weidman is the favorite to retain his title, as he is getting odds of -145 to win, while Rockhold is getting odds of +115 to win. These two meet up on Saturday night from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. They are the co-main event of a card that airs live on PPV at 10PM ET.

Rockhold is lengthy striker that has good takedown defense. He uses very powerful kicks and punches on his feet and has a variety of submission attacks on the ground. Weidman is a wrestler that has solid striking of his own. He has been able to overwhelm opponents with his pressure and ability to fight anywhere. In this fight, he comes in with a smaller reach, but that hasn’t been a problem for him in other fights. Rockhold is a little more aggressive than other opponents, but Rockhold is fighting in his first UFC title fight and pressure could be an issue.
