View Real-Time Sports Betting Odds

Aldo (25-1) is the champion that is looking to defend his title for the eighth time in his UFC career. McGregor (18-2) is unbeaten in the UFC and looking to hand Aldo his first loss since 2005. McGregor hasn’t lost since 2010. These two were set to meet in July, but an injury to Aldo forced him to pull out of the fight. Now, the two finally face off with the title on the line.

According to oddsmakers at RealBets, McGregor is actually the favorite in this fight, as he is getting odds of -130 to win, while the champion Aldo has a money line of +100 to win. These two meet up on Saturday night from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. They are the main event of a card that airs live on PPV at 10PM ET.

This definitely appears to be the greatest challenge for each fighter. Aldo has been a largely dominant champion, using his powerful kicks and punches to hold opponents at bay. McGregor is a very diverse striker with tremendous reach and flexibility in his kicks and punches. Both men have similar strengths, so this match could come down to who has more quickness or who has more power. Aldo delivers some punishing kicks that McGregor hasn’t had to combat against in the octagon, but Aldo hasn’t fought another striker as complex as McGregor.
