This fight has been clamored for for many years, but hasn’t happened for a number of reason, mostly because the two can’t agree to financial terms. However, Mayweather has made a hard stand about fighting on May 2 and is awaiting to see what happens from Pacquiao’s camp.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, if these two were to square off on May 2, they like Mayweather to win the bout, as they have given him odds of -325 to win, while Pacquiao has been given odds of +250 to win the bout.

Pacquiao is 57-5-2 in his career with 38 KO victories. He has won his last three fights after suffering back-to-back losses to the likes of Timothy Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez. He has also beaten both of those men. Mayweather is 47-0-0 in his boxing career with 26 KO’s. Mayweather hasn’t really been challenged in any recent bouts and a fight with Pacquiao seems like the only fight that makes sense for his career.
