According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Mayweather Jr. is the favorite to win this anticipated bout, as he has a money line of -230 to prevail. Pacquiao has been given odds of +180 to win. When it comes to will this fight go the distance, the odds of it being a 12-round bout is set at -285, while the odds of it ending before it gets to the judges has been set at +225.
Manny Pacquiao has a 57-5-2 record with a total of 23 of his fights going the distance. He is known for having the KO punching power that perhaps Mayweather lacks, but his last seven victories have come by decision. His last win by TKO was back in 2009 when he stopped Miguel Cotto in the 12th and final round. Pacquiao was knocked out cold by Juan Manuel Marquez in his last loss back in 2012 in the sixth round.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. is now 47-0-0 in his career, with 21 of his 47 wins coming by decision. His last five fights have gone to the judges and his last KO victory came in a win over Victor Ortiz back in 2011. Mayweather is known for being a counter striker and he tends to out-point his opponents as opposed to being aggressive and looking for the finish.
