UFC 138 takes place Saturday night and the main card will air on tape delay on Spike TV at 9PM ET. There will be prelim fights that will air live on Facebook. The event takes place from the LG Arena in Birmingham, England.
The main event of Saturday’s card is a middleweight clash between Chris Leben and Mark Munoz. Munoz comes into the fight as the favorite with a money line of -255 while Leben has odds of +205. Leben (22-7) is coming off a 27-second knockout of Wanderlei Silva back in July. He has won four of his last five with three of the wins coming by finish. He is a powerful puncher with an under-rated ground game. Perhaps his best asset is his ability to take a beating and keep moving forward. Leben is typically never out of a fight and that is what makes him dangerous. Munoz (11-2) is a fighter that has a strong wrestling base and he has slowly been working his way up the UFC ladder. He has won three straight and six of his last seven overall. Munoz is likely to have the edge on the ground in this fight with his ability to control his opponents on the ground, but if he tries to make this fight a standup war, he could find himself getting knocked out.
