Johnson vs. Dodson Odds

The UFC Flyweight Championship is on the line this Saturday night when Demetrious Johnson takes on John Dodson in the main event of UFC 191.

View Real-Time Sports Betting Odds

Johnson (22-2-1) is the champion and looking to defend his title for the seventh time. He has won his last nine fights overall and has finished four of his last five opponents. Dodson (17-6) has won his last three fights, including two KO finishes. His last loss actually came in a decision loss to Johnson back on Jan. 26 of 2013. Though Dodson lost, he gave Johnson by far his toughest fight to date in the flyweight division.

According to oddsmakers at GTBets, Johnson is the clear favorite to win this fight, as he is getting odds of -550 to win, while Dodson is getting a money line of +375 to win. This fight is the main event of UFC 191 and it takes place on Saturday from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The event airs live on PPV at 10PM ET.

The speed will be unreal in this fight as Johnson and Dodson may be the fastest fighters in all of MMA. Dodson looks to have a bit of an edge when it comes to punching power, but Johnson seems to have the edge in wrestling and in conditioning. In a fight like this, one mistake could put Johnson out, but he has been very crisp in his fighting since winning the title. Dodson will need to show improved conditioning if he hopes to win by decision.
