Lesnar (5-3) hasn’t competed in the UFC since December of 2011. He lost his last two fights by first-round TKO but claims that his performance suffered due to reoccurring bouts with diverticulitis. A former UFC champion, Lesnar looked unstoppable for a few years as he dominated with his wrestling and improved his striking with his monstrous hands. In this fight, he can win with his wrestling, as Hunt is a standup fighter and tends to fatigue quickly when forced to move.

Hunt (12-10-1) is coming off back-to-back first-round knockouts of Antonio Silva and Frank Mir. He is a very powerful striker that contended for the interim championship in November of 2014. Hunt has been pretty difficult to defeat, as he can take a punch and has respectable takedown defense. However, he hasn’t dealt with as athletic a wrestler as he will face in Lesnar. Hunt can win this fight if he can land some punches on Lesnar, who has struggled to overcome taking punches in the past.
