UFC 241 Predictions

The UFC Heavyweight Championship is up for grabs in a rematch from a big fight in 2018. Here’s a closer look at some picks to consider for UFC 241 tonight.

UFC 241 will be held from Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The main card for the event will begin at 10PM ET and air live on PPV as part of ESPN+.

Bet on UFC 241 Odds

24401 Stipe Miocic vs. 24402 Daniel Cormier

The main event tonight is rematch for the heavyweight title when Daniel Cormier (22-1) defends his title against the former champ, Stipe Miocic (18-3). According to the oddsmakers, Cormier is slightly favored to retain his title. He is listed with -135 odds to win while Miocic is listed with a money line of +115 to regain the belt. These two met on July 7 of last year in a champ vs. champ bout and Cormier earned a first-round KO. Miocic hasn’t fought since then while Cormier defended his belt back in November against Derrick Lewis. Cormier is a great mix of wrestling, cardio and striking. He has improved his punching power and can out-wrestle anyone in the heavyweight division. Miocic is a great precision striker, but doesn’t have the same versatility as the champ. I expect him to be outworked in this fight and eventually fall in the later rounds. UFC 241 Prediction: Daniel Cormier -135

24405 Nate Diaz vs. 24406 Anthony Pettis

The co-main event of tonight’s card is a welterweight battle between Nate Diaz (19-11) and Anthony Pettis (22-8). Oddsmakers see Pettis as the slight favorite, listing him with a money line of -135 to win. Diaz is listed with odds of +115 to win tonight. Diaz hasn’t competed since August of 2016 in a five-round war with Conor McGregor. The notorious Diaz brother has still kept himself in great shape and is looking for big-money fights to round out his career. Pettis is coming off an impressive KO win over Stephen Thompson in March, but he has struggled with aggressive fighters that like to push the pace and come forward. Diaz fits that bill. Diaz is mentally tougher than Pettis in my opinion and I think that will be the difference in the fight. He is going to land more strikes and be more aggressive to win this bout. UFC 241 Prediction: Nate Diaz +115

24409 Paulo Costa vs. 24410 Yoel Romero

Another featured bout tonight is in the middleweight division with Costa (12-0) taking on Romero (13-3). Costa is listed with a money line of +125 to win tonight while Romero is a slight favorite at -145. Romero has been knocking on the door of a championship for years, but hasn’t been able to get past Robert Whittaker. He lost to him by decision a year ago. Costa is unbeaten and coming in as a hot name, but he hasn’t fought in a year either and hasn’t faced anyone to the ability of Romero. Romero has great power and grappling and has proven he can take a punch. I like his experience to be the difference tonight. UFC 241 Prediction: Yoel Romero -145
