UFC Fight Night Predictions

The UFC is set to make its debut on ESPN programming tonight with UFC Fight Night on ESPN+. Here’s some picks we like for tonight’s card.

UFC Fight Night will be held from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The main card for the event will begin at 10PM ET and air live on ESPN+.

Bet on UFC Fight Night Odds

24401 Henry Cejudo vs. 24402 TJ Dillashaw

The main event of tonight’s card is a champion vs. champion bout with Flyweight champion Henry Cejudo (13-2) defending his title against Bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw (16-3). According to the latest oddsmakers at BetNow.eu, Dillashaw is favored in this fight, as he is listed with -225 odds to win while Cejudo is listed with a money line of +190 to prevail. Cejudo won the title in August, ending the long reign of Demetrious Johnson. Now he takes on Dillashaw, who has won four straight, including back-to-back KO’s of Cody Garbrandt. Both men have tremendous speed, solid power and great wrestling. Dillashaw has been a little more battle tested and been put in high-pressure fights. Cejudo can’t say the same. I think Dillashaw packs a little more punch and that will help him claim a second title. UFC Fight Night Prediction: TJ Dillashaw -225

24414 Greg Hardy vs. 24413 Allen Crowder

The co-main event tonight is a heavyweight bout with a lot of media attention as former NFL player Greg Hardy (3-0) faces Allen Crowder (9-3) in his first UFC fight. According to oddsmakers, Hardy is the clear favorite with -475 to win, while Crowder is listed with odds of +375 to prevail. Hardy left the NFL due to domestic abuse charges and the UFC has decided to give him a shot. He is lacking in much experience, but he has three KO’s in under a minute thus far in his pro career. Crowder is coming off being knocked out in the first round over a year ago. The UFC is trying to give Hardy an easy fight as they know he draws a lot of attention for the company. Don’t look for the upset here. UFC Fight Night Prediction: Greg Hardy -475

24405 Rachael Ostovich vs. Paige VanZant

One of the featured bouts tonight is a Women’s Flyweight match between Ostovich (4-4) and VanZant (7-4). According to oddsmakers, VanZant is favored in this fight, as she is getting odds of -155 to win. Ostovich is listed with a money line of +135 to prevail. VanZant had a lot of hype early in her career, but she has dropped three of her last four fights. Ostovich has lost three of her last five, but she has been the more active fighter. VanZant hasn’t fought in over a year and has just one fight in the last two-plus years. I think all that time off will hurt her as Ostovich is in dire need of a win and a capable fighter. She is well rounded and hungry. I think this is a good chance for the underdog to win. UFC Fight Night Prediction: Rachael Ostovich +135
