In Sunday’s main event, Chris Lytle will face Dan Hardy in a contest between two strikers that are both desperate for a win. Hardy comes into the fight as a slight favorite according to oddsmakers, as he has a money line of -130 to win while Lytle has even odds (+100) to win. Hardy (23-9) has lost his last three fights in the octagon as his inability to grapple has cost him two of the fights. He relies heavily on his punching power, as he has a boxing background. Lytle (30-18-5) is a fighters that will take the fight anywhere, but primarily likes to put on a good show and slug it out. He is coming off a decision loss that ended a four-fight win streak. Lytle should have a grappling edge on Hardy, but may come up short in a boxing match.
In the co-main event, lightweight contenders Jim Miller and Ben Henderson will meet. Miller is the favorite to win this contest, as he has odds of -170, while Henderson has a money line of +140. Miller (20-2) is considered the No. 1 contender in the UFC lightweight division, as he has won seven straight fights, and his only losses were to the two fighting for the belt in October. Henderson (13-2) was a former WEC lightweight champion and is coming off a win in his UFC debut against Mark Bocek. This should be primarily a grappling contest, with both men having tremendous wrestling ability.
