UFC on Versus 6 Odds
WASHINGTON, DC (TheSpread) – The UFC Bantamweight Championship is up for grabs on free television Saturday night as the main event of UFC on Versus 6.
View Real-Time Sports Betting Odds
UFC on Versus 6 takes place from the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. and features Dominick Cruz defending his bantamweight championship against Demetrious Johnson. Cruz enters the contest as the clear favorite, with odds of -435 while Johnson has odds of +335 to win the championship. Cruz (18-1) is on a 9-fight win streak that dates back to 2007 and he is defending his championship for the fourth time. His style is very hard to deal with as he is constantly on the move and using quick strikes with explosive takedowns to earn decision wins over his opponents. Johnson (9-1) has won his last four fights to earn this title shot. Johnson is a short, but strong wrestler that likes to control his opponents on the ground. Johnson is a big underdog as he has yet to face an opponent anywhere near this level.
In the co-main event, heavyweights Stefan Struve and Pat Barry will collide. Barry is the favorite to win the contest, as he has a money line of -200 while Struve has odds of +160 to win. Barry (6-3) is a squatty kickboxer with explosive striking. His leg kicks are among some of the strongest in MMA, however he has struggled against wrestlers and submission fighters. Struve (21-5) is a long fighter at 6-foot-11. He likes to use his length on the ground for submission wins. He also has good kicks and punches, but will lack the power that Barry brings to the fight.
