UFC Fight Night Predictions

What are the best betting plays for UFC Fight Night tonight? Here’s three fighters we like to come away with a victory.

Welterweight: Donald Cerrone (32-10) vs. Yancy Medeiros (15-4)

According to the latest oddsmakers at YouWager, both Cerrone and Medeiros are each listed with odds of -115 to win this bout. Cerrone is in desperate need of a win after losing his last three. Once a title contender, Cerrone could be facing the end of his career if he drops another bout. Medeiros has won three straight, all by finish, coming into tonight’s bout. Cerrone has struggled with guys that can bring the fight to him, which I think Mederios will do. He will be able to negate Cerrone’s kickboxing and outclass him with his striking and grappling. UFC PREDICTIONS: YANCY MEDEIROS -115

Bet on UFC Fight Night Odds

Heavyweight: Marcin Tybura (16-3) vs. Derrick Lewis (18-5)

Oddsmakers have Tybura as the favorite in this one, as he is getting odds of -135 to win. Lewis is listed with a money line of +105 to prevail. Lewis is coming off his first UFC loss, a fourth-round TKO against Mark Hunt last June. That loss could be a good thing, as it forced him to go deep into a fight against a powerful striker. Tybura is coming off a decision loss to Fabricio Werdum in November. I like the underdog in this one. Lewis looked unstoppable before falling to Hunt. He has big power and is strong enough to stay off his back. Tybura won’t be able to absorb Lewis’ strikes like Hunt was able to. UFC PREDICTIONS: DERRICK LEWIS +105

Lightweight: Sage Northcutt (9-2) vs. Thibault Gouti (12-3)

Oddsmakers like Northcutt in this bout, as he has -315 odds to win. Gouti is listed with a money line of +245 to prevail. Northcutt is someone the UFC would like to really see shine, as he is someone they feel they can promote heavily. A strong striker, he needs to continue to improve on his grappling. His two UFC losses have come by submission. He gets to face a man in Gouti, who has lost three of his last four. He relies on his striking to win, but faces Northcutt, who is a very technically skilled martial artist. UFC PREDICTIONS: SAGE NORTHCUTT -315
