UFC in Vegas 51 Main Event Best Bet
Vincente Luque vs. Belal Muhammad II
UFC Welterweight Main Event Bout
UFC Vegas 51 takes place on Saturday, April 16th, live from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Fight Pass and ESPN+.
Vincente Luque
Professional MMA Record: 21-7-1
Knockout Record: 11-0
Submission Record: 8-2
SIG Strikes Landed Per Minute: 5.65
SIG Strike Accuracy: 56.96%
Takedown Average: 0.64

Submission Average: 0.96
Vincente “The Silent Assassin” Luque is, without question, one of the most dangerous 170lb mixed martial artists on the planet. Having showcased his skills on the main stage (UFC) since 2015, he’s collected a 14-3 promotion record alongside a plethora of highlight-reel finishes. In fact, just 1 of his 14 UFC victories was decided on the judge’s scorecards – Luque is a striking and submission finish fiend!
Hailing from Brazil, his early career began on the South American regional scene – where the majority of his 7 losses were accumulated. However, aged 30 – fighting out of Sanford MMA – Luque has lost just 2 contests in the previous 6 years and is genuinely flourishing during his prime fighting years.
Belal Muhammad
Professional MMA Record: 20-3-0
Knockout Record: 4-1
Submission Record: 1-0
SIG Strikes Landed Per Minute: 4.55
SIG Strike Accuracy: 51.41%
Takedown Average: 2.20
Takedown Accuracy: 33.33%
Submission Average: 0.23
Much like his opponent this weekend, Belal “Remember The Name” Muhammad has accumulated a minimal number of losses since joining the UFC roster pool in 2016 – with a mere 3 unsuccessful outings.
Belal is riding a 6-fight win streak that dates back to 2019, and although he doesn’t possess the finishing ability of Luque, he’s one of the most durable and hard-working fighters when the octagon door closes.
Luque vs. Muhamad 2 Fight Analysis and UFC Vegas 51 Betting Odds
Sportsbooks across the board support Luque with an average -170 moneyline price tag. These odds shouldn’t come as a surprise; Luque dominated the first meeting when these two men met in 2016, and the Brazilian’s power is difficult to ignore.
Belal has unquestionably levelled up his striking attributes since his first bout with Luque, and we shouldn’t expect him to engage in a reckless fistfight with his opponent this time around. However, Luque won’t allow Belal to grapple for all five rounds, and I do anticipate a lot of this contest taking place on the feet.
For this reason, it’s challenging to go against the Silent Assassin. If anybody can give Luque his 2nd trip to the judge’s scorecards, it will be Belal; however, I still expect the Brazilian to outscore his opponent and move a step closer to title contention.
UFC Vegas 51 Betting Pick: Luque to win -170 with BetOnline
UFC Vegas 51 Co-Main Event Best Bet
Caio Borralho vs. Gadzhi Omargadzhiev
UFC Middleweight Bout
UFC in Vegas 51 takes place on Saturday, April 16th, live from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Fight Pass and ESPN+.
Caio Borralho
Professional MMA Record: 10-1-0
Knockout Record: 4-0
Submission Record: 3-0
SIG Strikes Landed Per Minute: 4.86
SIG Strike Accuracy: 73.66%
Takedown Average: 2.70
Takedown Accuracy: 75.00%
Submission Average: 0.00
Brazil’s Caio Borralho made a huge impression during his ‘Dana Whites Contender Series’ when finishing Jesse Murray inside 2 minutes of action. Now, he’ll make his UFC debut in the co-main event of the evening.
Under the spotlight, we can’t be certain how the Sao Paulo native will fare. Still, the 29-year-old prospect could propel himself deep into the middleweight rankings with another fight-ending performance that’ll take place before the evening’s main event.
Gadzhi Omargadzhiev
Professional MMA Record: 13-0-0
Knockout Record: 8-0
Submission Record: 3-0
SIG Strikes Landed Per Minute: 2.32
SIG Strike Accuracy: 72.22%
Takedown Average: 3.47
Takedown Accuracy: 100.00%
Submission Average: 3.47
Another prospect making his UFC debut in the co-main event of the evening is Gadzhi Omargadzhiev. The undefeated Russian notably dominated all of his opponents on the European regional scene, and his fight tape reveals a heavy grappling offense.
Gadzhi finished his ‘Dana Whites Contender Series’ bout within 4 minutes, locking up a slick kneebar on Jansey Silva. However, the Russian has power in his hands and boasts 8 victories via KO/TKO, most of which occur from a set of vicious ground and pound strikes.
Borralho vs. Omargadzhiev Fight Analysis and UFC Vegas 51 Betting Odds
The available UFC odds favor the Russian, and I’m in complete agreement. Borralho is very well rounded, but Gadzhi’s grappling – like most Russian fighters – is exceptionally overbearing and difficult to deal with.
I expect Gadzhi will bait Borralho into a striking war and then change levels for a takedown. Take the Russian’s moneyline before it’s juiced in his second UFC appearance.
UFC Vegas 51 Betting Pick: Omargadzhiev to win -140 with BetOnline
