2010 NASCAR Budweiser Shootout Odds – Stewart & Busch Favored
The 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Season officially gets started Saturday with the running of the 2010 Budweiser Shootout from Daytona International Speedway.
In this exhibition race, the 12 Chase for the Championships contenders from 2009 join past Daytona 500, Coke Zero 400, and Budweiser Shootout winners along with the Sprint Cup Rookie of the Year and pole winners from last season contend in a two-segment race. In the first segment, drivers race 25 laps followed by a 10 minute intermission then a 50-lap race to the finish line.

Three-time winner of this event, Tony Stewart joins Kyle Busch as the favorites to win the race.
The two drivers are 7/1 favorites to win the race according to oddsmakers at the online sports book Sports Interaction. Other short odds to win are Dale Earnhardt Jr. (8/1), Jeff Gordon (8/1), and Jimmie Johnson (8/1).
Stewart won this event in 2007, 2002, and 2001. He has also won three official Sprint Cup races at Daytona in his career.
Busch has not won this event, but he does hold a victory at Daytona in 2008. In 10 career races, Busch has finished in the top five in four of the races.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. won this event in 2008 and 2003 and he has two career wins on this track during Sprint Cup competition. He has finished in the top 10 in 11 of 20 career races at Daytona.
Gordon won this event in 1994 and 1997. Gordon has six career wins at Daytona and in 34 races at this track, he has finished in the top 10 in 17 of those races.
Johnson has won the last four Sprint Cup championships. He won the 2005 shootout event and in 16 career races at Dayton, Johnson has one win and nine top-10 finishes.
