The Sprint Cup Series makes the first of two stops at Pocono Raceway for the Gillette Fusion ProGlide 500.

Pocono is one of the most unique and difficult tracks on the circuit with its 2.5-mile triangular shape. What makes Pocono so difficult is all three of its corners are completely different from each other and whoever is able to master all three usually wins the race.
Pocono is notorious for some of the most boring racing we will see all year, since it is known for long green runs with very little passing. Picking drivers who qualify well is a must when handicapping this race. One thing we have noticed over the years is that drivers that do well on the road courses usually do well here, so keep that in mind when making your picks.
Denny Hamlin 5/1
Denny Hamlin has shown a real fondness for flat tracks and Pocono may be his favorite one of them all. In eight starts here, Hamlin has three wins and has only finished outside the top 6 twice. He also leads all drivers with a 9.5 average finish. Though he didn't run like we thought he would last week thanks to a broken splitter, we think he bounces back and gets the win at one of his best tracks.
Kurt Busch 8/1
In both of his wins at Pocono, Kurt Busch ran away from the field and completely dominated both races. With the way he has looked on other superspeedway tracks this year, we think he could do it again. The last few weeks, we have seen Busch run away from the field on tracks similar to Pocono. This team has really come together this year and we think he could run away from the field once again.

Juan Pablo Montoya 15/1
Juan Pablo Montoya needs a good finish to get back in the chase and we think he might finally break out of his season long slump here. Montoya has been fast all year but thanks to numerous crashes and breakdowns, he hasn't shown the consistency he showed last year. After two top-10 finishes at Pocono last year, we think he could get back on track this week.
