2010 NASCAR Odds: Autism Speaks 400 – Jimmie Johnson Favored

The 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup returns to Sunday driving this week with the 2010 Autism Speaks 400 from Dover International Speedway.

As usual with the Sprint Cup events, Jimmie Johnson is favored to win the race this week.

Johnson is a 4/1 favorite to win the race according to odds makers at the online sports book BroburySports.com. Other short odds to win are Jeff Gordon (6/1), Kyle Busch (7/1), and Denny Hamlin (7/1).

Johnson is 110 points behind points leader Kevin Harvick right now as Johnson sits in second place. Johnson has finished in the top seven in his last four races. He is the defending champion of this race and he has five wins at Dover with a average finish of 9.8 and a driver rating of 112.3, which ranks third in the series.

Gordon is fourth in the current standings, 147 points behind Harvick. Gordon has finished in the top five of his last two races and he is a two-time winner of this event. In his career, Gordon has four wins at Dover with an average finish of 12.2 and a driver rating of 90.3, which ranks ninth in the series.

Busch is third in the standings, 113 points out of first. Busch has finished in the top 10 in his last five races. He won this event in 2008 and that is his lone career win at Dover. Busch has an average finish of 16.9 with a driver rating of 98.5, which ranks seventh in the series.

Hamlin is sixth in the standings, 164 points out of first. He has won two of his last four races and finished no worse than 11th during that stretch. Hamlin has struggled at Dover, with an average finish of 25.1 and a driver rating of 73.6.

Greg Biffle has the top driver rating at this track at 114.7 with two career wins and an average finish of 10.8. Biffle has 20/1 odds to win the race.
